The Virtue Leadership Program at Amber Drive University Center is a culminating initiative that seeks to form leaders who are not only capable and visionary, but also deeply rooted in virtue. As part of the graduation ceremony of the 3-month Self-Leadership Program, we had the honor of inviting Dr. Bernardo M. Villegas—a renowned economist, esteemed professor, and co-founder of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P)—as keynote speaker.

Held in Ortigas and attended by ten outstanding students of UA&P, the event served as a fitting conclusion to months of intensive personal development, values formation, and leadership training. Dr. Villegas delivered an inspiring and intellectually enriching address on the central role of virtues—such as prudence, courage, justice, and temperance—in becoming effective, influential, and ethical leaders.

Through his engaging and insightful talk, Dr. Villegas emphasized that leadership is not merely about achieving success, but about creating meaningful relationships, fostering a culture of excellence, and serving the greater good. He challenged the graduates to lead with integrity, strive for excellence, and become agents of positive transformation in their fields and communities.
